Fatou joined the Communities In Schools team in 2019. She grew up in Labe Guinea and graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Ethnic, Gender, and Labor Studies. In her free time she enjoys going to concerts, reading and going on walks. Fatou’s most important accomplishment was serving as an AmeriCorps because it taught her the importance of service, grew her passion for advocacy, and prepared her for her role as a School Outreach Coordinator.
